A Double Dose of Disney

Two hours doesn't seem like a lot of time, until you're captive in an airplane with two toddlers.  We weren't off the ground before the reading materials and barf bags had been removed from the seatbacks.  Here is Kaysen sharing the emergency instructions with us.

We barely got settled when the boys were ready for a dip in the pool.

Day One ended at Downtown Disney with a quick dinner and a few pictures.

This is Kaysen in his Mike Wazowski hat that Aunt Lindsey bought.  Kamryn has one too, but he was in no mood to put on a hat.

Hollywood Studios

First tram ride heading into the park.

A quick breakfast to start the day, and Kaysen who wanted to play hide-and-seek behind a pillar.

Fun with stickers.

Meet-and-greet with Princess Sofia.

Meet-and-greet with Jake.

Watching Disney Jr. stage show.

It was a hot and sunny day.

Meet-and-greet with Mike and Sulley.

Waiting in line to ride Toy Story Midway Mania.  (We are not very patient in lines.)

Lunch with the characters at Hollywood and Vine restaurant

Kamryn loved the characters.  Kaysen was not sure if he loved them or not.  He did eventually warm up to them.

Kaysen and Sofia.

Kamryn with Sofia.  He really wanted her magical amulet.

Caroline worked with the boys before the trip to try to get them to kiss Sofia's hand when they met her.  Kamryn came through.  Good boy!

Kaysen and Manny and Jake.

Kaysen and Doc McStuffins.

Kamryn with Doc McStuffins.

End of Day 1.  It was a special day in many ways.

Animal Kingdom

We didn't take many pictures at the Animal Kingdom, but here are the boys petting the stinky goats (and a cow, I think).

Magic Kingdom

Our Magic Kingdom day started with breakfast at Chef Mickey's at The Contemporary Resort.

Kaysen....

On our way to see Tinkerbell.  Meet-and-greet with Tink.

Cute picture -- Kamryn and Mommy (at least I think it's Kamryn).

Riding the carousel.

EPCOT

Not a lot of pictures at EPCOT.  These pictures were taken at the aquarium and while waiting for fireworks.

Back at the house -- sidewalk chalk art, chair racing (because just sitting is not something we do), and bath time.

I would be remiss if I didn't also mention Lindsey and Marshall's engagement.  Pictures of him proposing to Lindsey in front of Cinderella's castle at the Magic Kingdom are included in a Disney Photopass package that I purchased, but I don't have those pictures downloaded to my computer yet. Somehow Lindsey managed to share them on Facebook and they're on my timeline, if you didn't see them already. We love Marshall and welcome him to our family.  Plus he gets an honorable mention for having the good sense to propose to my daughter in front of the castle.
